Opportunity: Wetlands in Taiwan

Artists from all countries are encouraged to send a proposal for a site-specific outdoor sculpture installation in Cheng Long, a small rural village near the southwestern coast of Taiwan in Kouhu Township, Yunlin County.

After the 2010 and 2011 Cheng Long Wetlands International Environmental Art Projects there will be a residency in Taiwan from the 8th of April until the 7th of May in 2012, too.
“What’s for Dinner?” is the theme for this years artworks, that the selected artists create in teamwork with elementary school children and local residents. The artworks should include a reflection on food production and organic aquaculture. Artists will use recycled materials and natural materials to create their artworks. These will be exhibited until 2013.
