Call for Submissions: VIII International Triennial of Eco-Poster

The International Triennial of Eco-Poster is organized for the eighths time by the Ukrainian Association of Graphic Designers to showcase significant achievements on the field of ecological topics of the world design community. The Association of graphic designers «4th Block» was founded in 2002 in order to bring together Ukrainian graphic designers, who deal with and care about social, environmental and ecological problems. It was named after the forth block of Chernobyl. As a member of ICOGRADA it contributes to uniting graphic designers from all over the world.
The organising committee of the Triennial seeks posters created between 2009 and 2012 of 60×90 cm or larger to be submitted by e-mail to association4block@gmail.com
The deadline for Submissions is February the 1st, 2012.
There are three categories for posters:

1. ’26’ – the world since Chernobyl and Fukushima

2. ‘Eco Poster’

  • global warming
  • Earth – our common body (man and Nature)
  • water pollution
  • air pollution
  • ‘living’ planet

3. ‘Eco-Culture’

  • conscience, freedom and creativity
  • ethics and spirituality
  • preservation of the cultural environment (exhibition, museum, festival, theatre posters)

Janna was BA-student in cultural sciences at the Leuphana University Lueneburg, and did a 5-months internship at Cultura21 in the framework of the Leuphana PLUS program. Janna war Studentin der Angewandten Kulturwissenschaften an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg und absolvierte im Rahmen des Leuphana Plus Programms ein fünfmonatiges Praktikum bei Cultura21.
