Events

Conference: students from the university in Prague, in collaboration with PIN, organized in Prague a one-day conference on Education in Africa, on November 26th 2008; more details on the conference page.

Exhibition/awareness-raising event: in parallel to the conference, the students from the university and primary school in Prague organized an exhibition including photographs and stands presenting schools in Ethiopia.

Preparation of an advocacy paper: students from the university in Prague collaborated with students from Groningen (Netherlands), Bordeaux (France), and Lüneburg (Germany) to prepare an advocacy paper on Karamoja through a collective web platform. See the advocacy paper on the homepage.

Cultural exchange: students from the primary school in Prague engaged into a cultural exchange with students from schools in Karamoja and Ethiopia; the outcome of this exchange will be used to prepare to awareness-raising event.
