Ph.d., Action Philosopher, co-founder and director of Cultura21 Nordic

The work that I do is all about life. I try to work through an action-philosophy that listens to, researches, and makes way for life and its worlds. This must be done through repeated entries into the inconceivable, so that my skin and bones may be penetrated by that which I cannot call my own, and let the concepts be born out of them that will allow for a new language of sustension and liveability.

Since the fall of 2008, I have been coordinating a small group of people interested in creating a branch of Cultura21 in the Nordic region. This culminated with the establishment of Cultura21 Nordic with a base in Copenhagen, legally registered as a non-profit organisation in June 2009.

Through this work, I try to make cultural interventions, action-philosophy, and various forms of collective reflections and intuitions coincide to work for cultures of sustainability.

I live in Copenhagen, on the island of Amager, with my wife Susanne and my three children, Jonathan and Sebastian both 14, and Mai, just turned 3 (and a fourth one coming up in December, a boy born under the auspices of climate change, maybe even during the COP15 summit in Copenhagen..)

I spend my time trying to create a liveable mix of social artwork, action-philosophy, teaching, writing, studying, experimenting, playing, and loving.
