Personally I prefer to speak about an exchange between “Culture and Civil Society” (and not only about “arts”) – and my notion of Culture is very closed to that of the UNESCO: Culture is an umbrella for arts, media, communication forms, education and science at the same time. Both, the functional and the anthropological definition, are in this notion.

But the right notion of culture, it is a part of our discussion…

I would like to keep, as on the leaflets and on the initial website, the subtitle “International Network for Cultures of Sustainability”. Furthermore, I proposed a text (which was already written on the English leaflet distributed at the ESA) which you can find on the Goals page, as “alternative draft”. I indeed find the first draft goals elaborated by Davide (see the Goals page) too vague and too neutral, and I prefer more engaging and directed goals... — Sacha Kagan 2007/05/16 16:01
